The SOFA!

Hey guys,

So I haven't been very good, but here we have our first craft......... *drumroll commences*


THE HUMBLE SOFA AND ARMCHAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah!

So I don't have a tutorial on this, because I found one on this lovely blog by Kyra.... She also has a tutorial on how to make a double bed, much more speedy than me........ :)

So for the sofa,

I used this green fabric that used to be some kind of handkerchief thing, that has white designs on it.......

 

Here is what the back of the sofa looks like:

For this, I kind of forgot to stick the wadding stuff on, so I covered it with fabric, forgot the wadding, glued on the wadding on top of the fabric, and then glued fabric on top of that. :).

But I just added trim to the middle to cover up the seam.

I also added trim to the bottom.












                                                                                   And the top......

Finally I decided to try my hand at making an armchair, because most living rooms have a sofa and an armchair.....


And this is what happened:

I mean, yeah, it's not that bad,,,,,


UNTIL YOU LOOK UP CLOSE....

THE PAIN IS REAL!!!!!!!



This edge makes me want to cry........ It's so ugly..... But if you look from the right angle, you can't see it :)

 Overall, I really like the combanation of them together...


See? You can't see that horrendous edge in the arm chair!!!!!

And also, I like the difference between this old plastic thing I was using before. The one on the right is super bulky, and is hard plastic. The one on the left, on the other hand, has a cool pattern and trim. It's actually a little soft.. -GO TISSUES!!!- but still good.

So yeah. Hopefully later today I can put up the rest of the crafts I missed!!!
